Zephtros and their 104.75 Wahoo

DAY1:
Day one of the 2ng leg of the Wahoo Challenge saw some nice fish and some dock-sdie excitement. One angler had to be rushed to the hospital due to a gaff through the leg. The doctor in West End was quoted "Holy Shish kebab!" Another team had to be towed in due to their lack of fuel.

And "Savanna Lynn" took the lead after the first day of fishing with some NICE fish.

DAY2:
On the second day of fishing, the wind kicked up (as it normally does for wahoo tournaments) and the teams were faced with stiff seas. The teams that braved it were rewarded with some incredible catches including a 68-pound fish on TOP VEE and the fish of the tournament and of the series... a 104.75-pound torpedo caught on ZEPHYROS... and they really deserved it.

See at the end of fishing on Day 1, a team had run out of gas just a few miles from the marina. The crew on ZEPHYROS volunteered to take them fuel and help them get back in safely. Karma rewarded them with the biggest fish of the tournament. After today, we all believe in good Karma.
